McKenna Logistics Centres, a leading Canadian provider of logistics services, are happy to announce that we will be making the switch from printed invoices to electronic invoices for our customers around the world. With a simple conversion process, customers will easily be switched over from paper invoicing to eInvoicing and reap the following benefits:
Sustainability – Since each invoice is approx 3 – 5 pages plus the envelope, and the energy used to print and deliver it – a single invoice has a significant environmental footprint. When you consider this in the context of the fact that MLC issues over 10,000 invoices annually, you can see that the savings to the environment are substantial. This move represents an investment in the environment and the future of our children.
Timeliness – The invoice will populate into the assigned email addresses at the time the McKenna staff run the print queue. This is done daily. No more waiting for the postman to receive your invoices.
No more Lost Invoices – Each invoice will reach you 100% of the time. This offers true value in helping you to maintain efficiencies within your accounting department. Since invoices are sent electronically, the records management process is greatly simplified while chances of invoices getting lost in the shuffle are greatly reduced.
NEXT STEPS WITH Greenbills:
McKenna Logistics Centres will be phasing in this process over the next couple of months. To help you out as you adapt to this new system, we will send out our regular paper invoices for the next two months and then phase them out entirely between June and July.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
Your Sales Representative or CSR will contact you to ask you for the PRIMARY contact name and email addresses that you wish to have the invoices sent. We would also like to have 1 – 2 secondary email addresses to send this to in the event that someone is on vacation, sick or a change in positions is made within your company.
At McKenna we are very excited about this step forward and we want to thank you for your help in our efforts to contribute to a greener environment. Should you want more details on this program, please visit our website at www.mckennalogistics.ca or call us. Thanks in advance for your support in helping us to save the environment.
